Christopher Rhue is a judge for the 16A Judicial District in North Carolina. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge William C. McIlwain. Rhue was sworn into office on January 5, 2015, and his term expires on December 31, 2020.[1][2][3][4]

Rhue received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and his J.D. degree from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.[5]

Before his election to the 16A Judicial District, Rhue served as an assistant district attorney for Scotland County, North Carolina.[4]
