|Chris began his career at an entry level position with Hardee's/Doro Inc. He very quickly worked his way up from the bottom into a position as a successful turnaround specialist. He was able to utilize skills He gained from his military experience to train/retrain. He assisted in marketing and policy/procedures, and was able to help stores who were not turning profits, to once again lead the way.
As a former law enforcement officer, He is trained to lead, help, and serve all people equally. He has dedicated his whole life to helping anyone and everyone he possibly can. He lives daily with the injuries he sustained while serving our country and defending our constitution and values.In the Army, Chris was taught many tools to succeed and win. He learned these key leadership values that are still ingrained in him to this day: loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, personal courage.
- Christopher J. Roper is a disabled United States Army Veteran, and former law enforcement officer. He was born, raised, and still lives in Central Illinois. He is a Christian family man with a loving wife, and 6 children, one of whom is currently serving in the Army.

-Bring the office of Governor back to Springfield.
-Force accountability and transparency.
-Allow accessibility to the Governor - allowing open communication.
-Put together a powerhouse team to make Illinois SHINE.
-Remove the hotline from the Chicago Mayor, that controls the Governor of Illinois. The Governor does not report to the Mayor, but rather, to the people of Illinois.
-I will ALWAYS know our government is... of the people, for the people and BY THE PEOPLE.
-I will Give power back to WE THE PEOPLE of Illinois!
