Christopher S. Morris is a judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He assumed office on June 17, 2022. His current term ends on January 6, 2031.

Morris was appointed to the court on June 3, 2022, by Governor Gavin Newsom (D).[1]
Biography
Morris earned his J.D. at Brigham Young University Law School. Before serving as a superior court judge, Morris was a sole practitioner for over 17 years. From 2008 to 2013, he worked as a partner at Aguirre and Severson. Morris previously served as the assistant city attorney head of the criminal division at the San Diego City Attorney's Office from 2004 to 2007. He also served in other roles within the San Diego City Attorney's Office, including as chief deputy city attorney from 2000 to 2003, as deputy city attorney for civil litigation from 1996 to 1999, as deputy city attorney in the criminal division from 1993 to 1994, and as deputy city attorney of the trial unit from 1992 to 1993. In 1995, Morris worked as an associate at Higgs, Fletcher, and Mack.[1]
