Christopher Strandlie is a judge on the Ninth Judicial District in Minnesota. He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton (D) on August 25, 2017, to succeed Judge Richard A. Zimmerman, who retired on September 5, 2017.[1]

Biography

Strandlie received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota. His professional experience includes working as an assistant attorney in Cass County, an assistant public defender in the Ninth Judicial District, a partner of the Kimball and Strandlie Law Office, and an alternative public defender for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.[1]
