Born in the heart of San Jose, California, on February 4, 1982, Christopher Paul Teacher embodies a lineage as diverse as his ambitions. With roots stemming from English, French, German, and Italian ancestry, his journey has been as varied as the tapestry of his heritage. Witnessing the transformation of his beloved hometown from a moderate Republican enclave to a beacon of blue liberalism, Christopher's passion for change was ignited.

Enlisting in the Air Force in 1999, Christopher's service took him across the globe, from the sands of Iraq to the deserts of Kuwait. Amidst the chaos of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, his dedication to duty never wavered. Education became his compass, leading him through Oak High School, De Anza Community College, CSULA, and beyond. Yet, it was his experiences in the Air Force, earning accolades in leadership and logistics, that shaped his vision for the future. Determined to stem the tide of educational decline, Christopher's mission is clear: to revolutionize the Clark County School District. Fueled by a fervent desire to restore excellence to the classroom, he advocates for vocational programs, parental involvement, and a curriculum overhaul.

With a watchful eye and a heart full of hope, Christopher Paul Teacher stands ready to lead, to inspire, and to transform. For him, the journey is just beginning, and the destination is nothing short of greatness.
School policy, I believe students are the future and need as much support as possible.
Listening to those he was elected by and diligence to working for their best interests
Represent the people who elected him in a constitutional manner
100% graduation rate for every student who enrolls into the Clark County School District
Caffeine, a bad habit I picked up in the Air Fore to work 12-16 hour shifts without days off for more than a month
Ensure every student is safe, educated, and motivated.
The great people in Clark County School District C!
Listen to the needs they have, consult with experts, community members, faculty, and students to come up with practical solutions to address those needs.
Community events, door to door conversations, and making myself available for meetings, calls, or texts.
Any method in which students retain the knowledge they are taught. This can be measured through tests, practical application, or discussion on the source material. I will advocate to the legislature and at school boards for advanced teaching approaches that have helped students to learn and retain the knowledge that was taught using those methods
I would like to advance curriculum in English, Math, and Biology as well as vocational programs in advanced work study programs. Students should be paid a fair wage for work done in those advanced work study programs since the work that is being done is bringing someone a profit.
Better management of the budget with no unearned bonuses to administrative employees.
Balancing freedom with safety. Students should not have to learn in an environment that resembles a prison like setting. Restrictive measures aren't conducive to a good learning environment. Students have to be relaxed to learn. There will be a lot of behind the scenes security like behavior analytics and unseen surveillance in open public areas and outdoor entrances with school security monitoring and on call for suspicious behavior. Group punishing the whole student body for the actions of the few is not fundamentally fair or conducive to a good learning environment.
Peer talking sessions in a private setting and further help with a licensed counselor if needed.
Not appropriate to tell on a public forum
More oversight and better management of the budget, expand the current policies to be more inclusive of parent input and involvement, and continue the policies that are helping to improve student engagement
An environment that keeps students engaged and safe.
Poorly, but a lot of school districts nation wide handled the pandemic poorly. Too many people acted with too much fear without hard science to help form decisions. I would deal with what was actually happening instead of what could happen. I would proceed with caution with no extreme measures and adjust accordingly with what was being proven conclusively with laboratory results.
Attend parent's meetings, do reach out to individuals that do not attend meetings but want to talk, and leave myself open to alternative communications that is most comfortable with the parents.
Recruiting from the local community first then spreading out through out the state and country as needed.
There should be complete transparency with the exception of national security on where taxpayer dollars are going. Government officials need to be held to a higher standard than those without power. The more power, than the higher the standard.
