I am a God fearing Christian, husband, and father of three girls. My family and God driven convictions have led me to the point of running for 1st District State Representative after watching so many of our personal freedoms erode in these last 2 years. I want my children and grandchildren to enjoy the same liberties that my family has fought for, by previous generations. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business from Murray State University, and currently farm and drive a truck part time. I have been a self-driven, life-long learner. I promise to fully research legislation and its potential unintended consequences before voting on any legislation. I am humbly asking for your support and vote on May 17, 2022 in the Republican Primary.
  • I will listen to my constituents
  • I will take no special interest money
  • I have no desire to be a career politician
I want to eliminate all mandates in the state of Kentucky. I want to stop federal overreach in our state including gun restrictions and free speech issues. I want to enact term limits and legislation that allows voters to recall elected officials that have violated the trust if voters.
Jesus is my ultimate example in life. I strive to live a wife that honors and pleases him first. But the greatest imports an example has been my grandfather. he came from nothing and built a farm and why is a pillar of the community. He was the hardest working person I know, and taught me so many skills. Whether it was working on water wells, wiring electrical equipment, rebuilding engines, there were so many things he taught me and introduced me to. Was a big influence on who I am today.
Our founding documents, and truthful historical analysis of their origins, the people involved, and the Godly philosophy behind the architecture of our government.

Not making decisions while in office to benefit themselves. Never allowing themselves to be put in a situation that they could be potentially compromised.
Listen to the people‘s voice regarding fundamental issues that they are bringing to your attention that are affecting their daily lives.

Take every opportunity to be transparent and communicate with your constituents about what is happening at the state legislature.

When corruption becomes obvious to you, spotlight it and point it out for all the world to see.
I hope that I can become a model legislator for standing firm on Godly principles, and issues that build opportunities for families and individuals to thrive in our state. Rather than becoming a career politician, I hope that I can mentor people who will be willing to carry on with the same godly principles that I stand for.
I believe the earliest historical event with the greatest significance was the fall of the Berlin Wall. I was 13 years old.
I was working on my family’s farm at a very young age. I would drive tractors, and work in tobacco as well on our farm. I had my first tobacco crop when I was in high school and put myself through college raising tobacco and I owned a couple of semi trucks while in college as well. After college graduation I worked for different Agribusinesses in Oklahoma, Indiana, and Kentucky. In 2021 I was able to come back to the farm and now farm with my cousin on our family’s row crop farm.
Flight of Passage. It’s a book about 2 teenage brothers that take a trip across the US in a small airplane. It represents the freedom to accomplish something on your own While capitalizing on that spirit of adventure.
“There was Jesus” with Dolly Parton
I was born with a congenital defect of my right leg. It was the one single reason that I was not able to fulfill a life long dream of serving as a pilot in the Air Force, when I received a full Air Force ROTC scholarship to Mississippi State University. I started taking flying lessons when I was 14, soloed on my 16th birthday, and got my pilots license at 17. I had been pretty much guaranteed a pilot slot. When my life plans came to a screeching halt, I had to pivot and move forward. It has taught me to think outside the box when someone tells you there are limitations on your life. You just find opportunity, and go for them.
There should be a willingness to work together when they can. The most important responsibility to either party is enacting the will of the people with the consent of the governed.
Growing our economy by making it more attractive for businesses and individuals alike there’s one thing that means work immediately. Revising our tax code to support the financial wellbeing of the State and individuals is another primary issue. Making sure that our retirement system is fully funded and functioning is the third priority I think Will be another great challenge.
Yes. Finding people whose policy goals that resonate with your own will be key to moving issues forward in the legislature.
So long as there are no conflicts of interest, I would have a desire to serve on the committee. Our state has a great economic foundation agricultural production. I would like to find ways to move more of our production into value added product streams within the state for economic growth and ability to help producers be more profitable.
Not really, I just want to operate with the most integrity possible and without special interests attached.
Yes. During 2020 I had people coming to me wanting help with their unemployment benefits. They desperately needed help Karma and we’re not getting answers from their legislator or advice. I myself had the same experience, and this is one of my personal stories that led me to run for office.
At the moment they should definitely be overseeing them, but I would like to see them eliminated. “Emergency powers” are the most dangerous words in any government.
I think that compromise may be necessary on some issues. But I believe that the reason we are where we are as a nation and as a state is because so many good godly people were willing to compromise when they never should have in the first place. I will be standing my ground a whole lot more than I will be compromising.
