I am a 3rd generation Texan who has been a public servant over the past 19 years. I'm NOT a politician! I'm a practicing Christian and I know I'm not perfect but I still strive to be every day. I'm married and have 3 children, 2 boys and a little girl. Over the past 19 years in law enforcement I have held the positions of Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and Chief of Police. During this time I gathered training and experience in negotiations, policy development and policy implementation, problem solving, and much more. I also started my own small business in 2012 where I created my own products. While managing my business I was successful in creating my own licensing agreements which landed us 11 different proprietary licenses. I have experience in International Trade and foreign relations. My business has also successfully completed 2 separate distribution deals. I also have successful experience in balancing large budgets.
  • Congress needs strong representatives who are great problems solvers. We need more representatives who have new ideas and solutions for America's issues that seemingly continue to be around election cycle after election cycle. My training and experience make me an ideal candidate for this position.
  • This country is in dire need of a balanced budget. The lack of accountability with Congressional spending is what has gotten us in debt, with no clear path to pay this debt back. If the government was a business like Sony, Disney, or any big business, the board members would have been fired along time ago if the business hadn't already gone bankrupt.
  • As we have seen through each election cycle the issues we face never seem to get addresses and solved. Career politicians have no new ideas or solutions. If you want something you never had, you have to do something you've never done. Vote for someone who is a reflection of the people they represent. Vote Chris Wall!
Balancing the budget is a big issue I want to tackle in my first term. There is so much fraud, waste, and abuse in our government. My experience being an Internal Affairs Investigator will help me uncover this type of misconduct and hold my peers accountable for their actions. Health Care is also a subject I want to tackle. The government has no business in health care and I want to do what I can to get us out of the business while still providing affordable solutions for those who have difficulty affording typical insurance policies. I have plans to streamline the process for VA patients and also immigration policy. Low drug cost is also on my agenda, and I have some solutions that will generate competition and drive prices lower making them more affordable. I look forward to helping create a smaller more efficient government and promote families who are independent from government assistance.
The first person who pops into my head is my father. He instilled in me the moral compass and code of ethics I live my life by. He is the spiritual leader of my family and I look to him for advice regularly. His hard work and dedication to this country is something I look to rival. The one thing that I admire most about him is that he is true to himself. He is not the type to sacrifice his beliefs or morals for the purposes of being liked or for the purposes of getting ahead. What you see is what you get of him!
I think someone with that holds themselves to a higher standard than the average person is a great characteristic. Someone who takes self accountability and that is transparent with those he or she represents.
Someone who can problem solve and is willing to work with any and all representatives no matter what party they represent in order to provide solutions to issues that affect Americans on a daily basis.
My ability to negotiate and have respectful and open conversations with those who have different views than myself. I think my problem solving abilities along with my ability to work productively under pressure make me ideal for the position. An effective representative needs to be able to adapt and overcome the constant changing landscape of America and its politics.
To serve and protect the people of their district, not political action committees, by promoting family and business while following the guidelines of the Constitution.
I want to be the inspiration for those who have been told they can't be or do something in life they have set their sights on accomplishing. I was told just the other day by a party chairman that I shouldn't be running against the incumbent because I'm basically a nobody. I respectfully told him that I appreciate the advice, and it's because of people like him, I work just that much harder.
When I was 15 years old I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was significant to me because my father was stationed in Germany at the time. We traveled to Berlin shortly after the fall and were able to visit East Berlin and speak with East German soldiers who were so happy to be reunited with West Germany. There are so many memories from this time and I am so blessed to have been there for it.
My very first job was when I was 16 years old. I worked during my high school summers as a short order cook. During this time I was in Heidelberg Germany, where my dad served in the US Army. The job was located on a military base where I served military members and civilians.
Lone Survivor. It's an inspirational story about the will to never give up and to never ever surrender no matter the circumstances.
I would be a character called Brick. He's a police officer who was exposed on the job to a toxin that gave him enhanced powers. He helped create an organization that places enhanced persons within police departments all over the nation. His partner Red keeps him centered and is his compass. Together Red and Brick are a formidable team that can't be stopped.
Early on in my life my biggest struggle was limiting my success in my own mind. I was scared of failing so there were so many things I didn't try. Once I got over my fear of failure and looked at every experience as a win in some form or fashion, I have accomplished so many things.
Congress creates legislation that can either move the country in a prosperous direction or stop it dead in its tracks. It's on of the most important parts of our government and nation as a whole.
No in fact I think there has been proof that those who choose to run that have no prior experience have more success. There is seemingly less chance that someone with little to no experience has any other agenda than serving the public and not themselves or third parties. I also think that when you come in with no experience in government politics, you also come in with an open mind and not a mind set that may be conditioned as to what can and can't be done. There are no preconceived barriers when entering office.
I think our greatest challenge is keeping the continual industrial growth of the nation. I believe that we need to continue to promote competition in the market by deregulation. I believe that industrial growth
Yes I would love to be a part of the Ethics Committee, Foreign Relations, Small Business, Veterans Affairs, and the Budget Committee.
I am running on a self imposed 5 term limit. I do not believe in career politicians nor do I believe in getting rich off the backs of the working Americans in this country.
