Christopher Ziogas
Christopher Ziogas (Democratic Party) was a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 79. He assumed office in 2017. He left office on January 4, 2023.
Ziogas (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 79. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Christopher Ziogas earned a psychology degree from Fairfield University and a law degree from Western New England School of Law, passing the bar in 1983. He became a Certified Financial Planner and owned a financial planning business in Bristol, Connecticut. Ziogas served two terms on Bristol's City Council, was a member of the Board of Finance, and served as chairman of the Bristol Democratic Town Committee.
Ziogas was first elected to represent District 79 in the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2016. In the 2019 session, he served as the Majority Whip at Large and sat on the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee, the Regulation Review Committee, and the Transportation Committee.[1]
