The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Gil S. Coloma Keith-Agaran defeated Christy Kajiwara Gusman in the Democratic primary, while Joe Kamaka was unopposed in the Republican primary. Keith-Agaran defeated Kamaka in the general election.[1][2][3]
