Chrystel L. Gavlin is an associate judge on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. She was elected to this position by the judges of the 12th Circuit on November 26, 2012, and she was reappointed for a full term in 2015.

Gavlin received her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Francis in 1990 and her J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University in 1996.

Career

Gavlin ran a solo law practice in Joliet, Illinois, prior to becoming an associate circuit judge in 2012.
