Chuck Eaton is a judge of the Georgia 5th Superior Court District Atlanta Circuit. He assumed office on August 12, 2021. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Eaton ran for re-election for judge of the Georgia 5th Superior Court District Atlanta Circuit. He won in the general election on May 24, 2022.
Eaton left the Public Service Commission in July 2021, after Gov. Brian Kemp (R) appointed him to the 5th Superior Court District of Georgia.[1]
Biography
While he served as commissioner, Eaton lived in Atlanta with his wife Erika and daughter Lydia.[2]
Eaton's professional experience includes serving as deputy campaign manager for U.S. Rep. Phil Crane in 1992 and managed multiple campaigns for Rep. Jeff Brown.[2]

Political career
Public Service Commission (2007 – 2021)
Eaton was first elected to the Public Service Commission in December 2006. He served as chair of the commission in 2008, from 2012 to 2016, and in 2020 and 2021.[3]
Eaton left the Public Service Commission in July 2021, after Gov. Brian Kemp (R) appointed him to the 5th Superior Court District of Georgia.[1]

Eaton ran successfully for re-election in 2012. He defeated Matt Reid in the Republican primary on July 31st, and later triumphed over Stephen Oppenheimer and Brad Ploeger (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
