Chuck Gatschenberger
Chuck Gatschenberger (Republican Party) is running for election to the Missouri State Senate to represent District 6. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]
Gatschenberger (Republican Party) was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 108. He assumed office in 2009. He left office in 2015.
Gatschenberger was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the Missouri State Senate.[1]
Biography
Gatschenberger earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. His professional experience includes working as a financial planner and Director of Academic Advising at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Issues
No New Taxes Pledge
A minority of Missouri lawmakers signed the 2011 edition of the "No New Taxes Pledge." The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is offered by the nonprofit lobbying organization Americans for Tax Reform with the goal of opposing all tax increases as a matter of principle. Just one out of 34 state Senate members signed the 2011 pledge. Out of 163 state House members, only 38 lawmakers signed.
Gatschenberger signed the pledge.[2]

Elections for the Missouri State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, followed by a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Bob Onder defeated Vicki Schneider and Chuck Gatschenberger in the Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election.[3][4]

Gatschenberger won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 108. Gatschenberger ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]

Gatschenberger is married with three children. He has been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Lake Saint Louis Chamber of Commerce, Missouri Right to Life, National Rifle Association, Wentzville Rotary Club and Wentzville School District.[11]
