Chuck Ross
Chuck Ross is a former Vermont Secretary of Agriculture, Food & Markets. He was first appointed by Governor Peter Shumlin on January 6, 2011 and held the post until January 5, 2017.
Biography
Ross is the son of a seventh-generation Vermonter. His family owned an orchard on Lake Champlain, raised trotters and owned a wood lot. He worked for his family's 500 acre square-baled hay business in Hinesburg and a farm in Iowa on land owned by his mother's family.[1]
