2016
Egwu's campaign website listed the following themes for 2016:
“ |
Creating Jobs The first step to achieving jobs in Baltimore is my guarantee that the vacant homes in Baltimore be rehabilitated completely by Baltimore-based contractors. This will provide jobs and stop our crumbling home values in one step. Community Safety Our community is our most prized investment. I plan to invest in security cameras on most Baltimore city blocks, not just downtown. I will re-establish the trust between our community and our police force by assuring transparency. Police officers are our friends, brothers, sisters, parents and family. But most importantly, the police must understand that the community must feel safe in their hands, as we are their friends, brothers, sisters, parents and family members as well. Education As someone who struggled with school myself, I will insure that our school system becomes one of the best in the country. [2] |
