A Cincinnati City Gas & Electricity Aggregation Question were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Cincinnati which is in Hamilton County.
Both measures were approved[1]
This measure sought to aggregate the city electricity and gas services in the city for the goal of allowing for lower costs for residents who would also be able to opt out of the programs if they wanted.[2]
The Cincinnati Regional Chamber had not endorsed this measure, noting that they felt that residents should be free to choose what gas or electricity provider they want and let the market decisions remain for residents.[3]

Gas Aggregation
The question on the ballot:
| Shall the City of Cincinnati have the authority to aggregate the retail natural gas loads located within the incorporated areas of Cincinnati and enter into service agreements for the sale and purchase of natural gas, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?[4][5] |
