Cindy Decker is the former District 5 representative on the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education in Oklahoma. Decker defeated Stan Minor to win another term on February 9, 2016.

Decker resigned from the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education on January 7, 2019.[1]

Decker graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from Emory University. She also holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. She has worked as a senior economist at the U.S. Government Accountability Office and a staff economist for the President's Council of Economic Advisers. Decker is the director of research and accountability at CAP Tulsa.[2]

Two of the seven seats on the Tulsa Public Schools school board were up for by-district general election on February 9, 2016. Incumbents Cindy Decker and Ruth Ann Fate of Districts 5 and 6, respectively, sought re-election. While no candidates filed to challenge Fate in District 6, Stan Minor challenged Decker in District 5. Decker ultimately defeated Minor. The unopposed election was canceled, and Fate was automatically re-elected.[3]
