California bond elections are local ballot measures that ask voters to decide on whether the city, county or special district that is sponsoring the measure should be allowed to issue bonds, and incur the additional indebtedness that bonds bring with them. This page lists bond measures put on the ballot by city councils, county boards of supervisors and the boards of directors of special districts such as community services districts, community facilities districts and fire protection districts. Ballotpedia has a separate page dedicated to local school bond elections.
Below is a chart showing the city, county and special district bonds decided by local California voters from the beginning of 2015 to the present.
