The city of Frankfort, Kentucky, held general elections for city council and county attorney on November 8, 2022. The filing deadline for this election was originally scheduled for January 7, 2022, but was later moved back to January 25.
A primary election was scheduled for May 17, 2022. The primary for the city commission election was canceled after six candidates filed to run for the four seats up for election. The primary for the county attorney race was also canceled after Max Comley (D) and Kate Bennett (R) were the only major-party candidates who qualified to run.
