The city of Montgomery, Alabama, held a special election for District 1 on the city council on July 13, 2021. The filing deadline was May 25, 2021.[1] The runoff election scheduled for August 24, 2021, was canceled after one of the candidates withdrew.
The city also held a special election on March 23, 2021, for District 3 on the city council. A runoff election was held on April 27, 2021.[2]
