A City of Burbank Parcel Tax for Sewer/Refuse, Measure S ballot question was on the April 9, 2013 ballot for voters in the City of Burbank in Los Angeles County, where it was defeated.[1]
If Measure S had been approved, it would have cost area residents about $10 to $15 each year. Funds from the tax would have enabled the city to provide a break on trash and sewer services to low-income seniors and disabled residents. The city expected that it would generate about $413,000 a year from the tax.
