A City of California City parcel tax, Measure E was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of California City in Kern County. It was defeated.
If voters had approved it, Measure E would have imposed a parcel tax of $120/per parcel/year for ten years. The new tax would have begun on July 1, 2011 and the proceeds of the tax would have been used for water supply and distribution projects.
