A charter amendment concerning the candidate election dates for the city council and mayor was on the ballot for Chandler voters in Maricopa County, Arizona, on August 25, 2015. It was approved.

Proposition 484 formally amended the city's charter to set candidate elections to a cycle with elections in August and November of even numbered years and January commencement dates. The city had been following this election schedule since 2008. Proposition 484 made the city's charter comply with the city's practices.[1]

Mayor Jay Tibshraeny said, “This is just to formalize in our charter the election dates that we have been using for the past seven years, which is the August and November cycle for elections."[2]
