Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Shall the Charter of the City and County of Denver be amended concerning the subject of election procedures; removing unnecessary detail from the charter regarding acceptance of nominations by candidates, preparation of ballots, form of ballot questions, election judges, election watchers, voting and counting equipment, write-in votes, and certain initiative, referendum procedures, in order for these matters to be governed by city ordinance or state law in lieu of the Charter; clarifying other powers and duties of the Clerk and Recorder to conduct of elections; and allowing the Clerk and Recorder to become a candidate for other offices during his or her incumbency as Clerk and Recorder?[1][2] |
