A City of Gilroy Library bond proposition, Measure F ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Gilroy in Santa Clara County, where it was approved.
Measure F authorized the City of Gilroy to borrow $37 million to build a new library.
The objective of Measure F was to "replace the overcrowded, outdated Gilroy Library building, with a larger Library that meets current earthquake safety standards, located near public transit, City Hall and the Senior Center."
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
