A City of Gonzales Temporary Transactions and Use Tax, Measure K ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the city of Gonzales in Monterey County, California. It was approved.

Upon approval, Measure K enacted a one-half percent transactions and use tax for ten years in the city of Gonzales. The revenues from the tax were designated to protect city services such as public safety, street and park repairs and maintenance of the community center and pool.[1]

The question on the ballot appeared as:[1]

To protect essential services, such as public safety and street and park repairs, initiate work on desired facilities like the community center and pool, continue the development of innovative programs for economic growth and youth, adult and senior activities, and address unanticipated debt, shall Gonzales enact a one-half percent (.50%) transactions and use tax, for ten (10) years, reviewed by a citizen’s oversight committee and annual independent audit, for use exclusively in Gonzales? [2]
