Measure B raised the sales tax in the City of Gustine by half-a-cent.
Measure B was on the ballot a year after voters in the City of Gustine rejected Measure N, a proposed sales tax increase that was on the November 4, 2008 ballot.

MEASURE B: "To maintain public safety and community services including, but not limited to, maintaining an adequate number of police and fire personnel, and providing and maintaining recreation facilities and services throughout the community such as Y-Lead, swimming pool, and city parks, shall the ordinance be adopted increasing the City general sales tax by half-cent, with guaranteed independent financial audits?"[1] |
