A City of Oakland Police Parcel Tax, Measure NN ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Oakland in Alameda County, where it was defeated.
If Measure NN had been approved, it would have given the city the authority to levy a parcel tax to fund the cost of adding 105 police officers and 75 administrative personnel in the police department.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
