A City of Riverside Authority of the City Manager, Measure H ballot question was on the June 5, 2012 ballot for voters in the City of Riverside in Riverside County, where it was approved.
Measure H amended the City of Riverside's City Charter to "eliminate the authority of the City Manager to approve or disapprove appointments and removals of subordinate employees of any Charter officer, including the City Clerk and City Attorney."
A simple majority was required for approval.

Support
The editorial board of the Press Enterprise supported Measure H. They wrote, "Yes. This amendment would protect charter offices’ staffing decisions from interference by the city manager."[1]
