A City of Seal Beach Utility Users Tax, Measure DD ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the city of Seal Beach in Orange County, California. It was approved.
Upon approval, Measure DD authorized the city to continue levying its utility users tax at the reduced rate of 10 percent - down from 11 percent. It also updated the language of the utility tax law and imposed the telecommunications portion of the tax on cell phones and hard lines.[1][2]
A similar measure was decided by voters in the city of Santa Ana.
