City of Vallejo Marijuana Tax, Measure C (November 2011)

A City of Vallejo Marijuana Tax, Measure C ballot question was on the November 8, 2011 ballot for voters in the City of Vallejo in Solano County, where it was approved.[1]

Approval of Measure C authorized the city to tax marijuana businesses at a rate of 10 percent of gross receipts, with a minimum base tax of $500.

Although the exact figure is not known, it was estimated that there were between 13 and 23 medical marijuana dispensaries located in Vallejo at the time of the election.[1]
