A City of Watsonville Mobile Home Parks Rent Control Fee, Measure R ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the City of Watsonville in Santa Cruz County, where it was approved.
Measure R authorized the City of Watsonville to impose and collect a "rent control fee" from those who live in mobile home parks. According to the text of the measure, this will "partly reimburse the City for the cost of defending challenges to its mobile home rent control ordinance."
A simple majority vote was required for approval.
