Clair Dickinson
Clair E. Dickinson was a judge on the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals. He served on the court from 1993 to 1999 and later from February 9, 2007 to February 8, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Judge Dickinson received his B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.[1]
Career
Judge Dickinson began his legal career in 1977 as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Leroy Contie Jr. In 1979, he joined the law firm Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue as an associate. He then worked for the litigation group at Brouse McDowell from 1983 to 1993. After this, he took office on the Court of Appeals. In 1999, he returned to Brouse McDowell to head the appellate practice group. In 2007, he returned to the Court of Appeals where he served until 2013.[1]

Dickinson was defeated by Jennifer Lee Hensal in the general election on November 6, receiving 48.67 percent of the vote.[3][4]
