Claire Celsi
Claire Celsi (Democratic Party) was a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 16. She assumed office on January 3, 2023. She left office on October 6, 2025.
Celsi (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 16. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Celsi died on October 6, 2025.[1]
Biography
Claire Celsi was born in Des Moines, Iowa.[2] Celsi graduated from Dowling Catholic High School. She earned a B.A. in sociology from Drake University in 2001. Celsi's career experience includes owning Claire Celsi Consulting and The Public Relations Project and working as a contributing editor to Ragan's PR Daily, a blog contributor to the Des Moines Business Record and the Iowa Biz Blog, and an adjunct professor with Drake University.[2][3]
