Clara Dawkins-Davis
Clara Dawkins-Davis was a 2015 Democratic candidate for District 11 of the Mississippi State Senate.
Dawkins-Davis was removed from the ballot on March 16, 2015, after the Mississippi Democratic Party determined that she did not live in the district.[1] However, she was later added back to the official candidate list and remained on it as of early July.[2][3]

Elections for the Mississippi State Senate took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015, and the general election was held on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[4] Incumbent Robert Jackson defeated Clara Dawkins-Davis and James Edwards Jr. in the Democratic primary. No Republican candidates filed for election. Jackson ran unchallenged in the District 11 general election.
