I am a small business owner and community leader, living in Gwinnett County for over 18 years and running for State Senate to restore Georgia’s values in District 7 and empower the community.

Born & raised in the Dominican Republic, I moved to the United States in 1997 with a law degree and a passion for performing arts, pursuing a career in entertainment law, becoming a U.S. Citizen in 2008.

My husband Cesar and I moved to Lawrenceville in 2005, where I switched gears and partnered with my husband to run our business, CIC Flooring. Gaining experience and industry certifications, I helped expand service offerings, opened a showroom and earned recognition and awards from associations and colleagues throughout the business community.

I am a member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Professional Women, serves on the board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Latinas in Construction Association. Cesar & I have four children and we are actively involved in St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Over the last 18 years, I have become increasingly connected throughout Gwinnett County and in Georgia politics. Grounded in conservative ideals, values, and morals, I am devoted to giving a voice to those principles that unite me with the community in District 7.
  • As a small business owner and active member of the local business community, I have a deep appreciation for the difficulties that business owners face in our current economy. With my legal background and experience connecting people in various communities, I have regularly demonstrated my motivation to collaborate with politicians and business leaders – creating a roundtable discussion focused on solutions.
  • With experience in the classroom as a music teacher, my initial interest in politics led me to explore a run for the School Board. As I further developed my goals for impacting educational policy, I realized that I could have a bigger influence at the legislative level. I will fight to protect local control and parental involvement and increase the opportunities for vocational education.
  • I’m an immigrant who followed the legal process and became a U.S. citizen, but I recognize the system is broken. This issue is personal for me and I have a unique perspective in the effort to fix it. We must secure our borders, address the real issues, and make the federal government hold our immigration policies to a higher standard to ensure our safety.
As a Republican, I am a strong advocate for pro-life policies and will protect our constitutional rights. I will advocate for small business growth, improved education, lower taxes, reduced regulation and quality healthcare solutions, as well as lend my experience to issues related to immigration.
I believe elected officials must represent the principles and priorities of their district, remaining connected to their community and true to the shared values of their constituents.
As a conservative, an immigrant, a Latina businesswoman and a mother, I am driven to set an example for my family, my community, and to give back to this district that has provided me with so many opportunities to achieve the American Dream.
