Clare E. Connors
Clare E. Connors (Democratic Party) was the Attorney General of Hawaii. She assumed office in 2019. She left office on December 10, 2021.
The United States Senate confirmed Connors as United States Attorney for Hawaii on December 7, 2021.[1]
On September 8, 2015, President Barack Obama (D) nominated Connors to the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.[2] On January 3, 2017, Connors' nomination was returned to President Obama at the sine die adjournment of the 114th Congress.[3]

Connors was an attorney for the law firm of Davis Levin Livingston from 2011 to 2019.

Attorney general of Hawaii (2019-2021)
Connors became the attorney general of Hawaii in 2019. She was appointed by Gov. David Ige (D) on January 3.[4] On December 7, 2021, Connors was confirmed by the United States Senate as the United States Attorney for Hawaii.[1]

President Barack Obama (D) nominated Connors to the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii on September 8, 2015. The President on the nominations:

The American Bar Association rated Connors Unanimously Well Qualified for the nomination.[6]
The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary held hearings on Connors' nomination on January 27, 2016. Her nomination was reported favorably out of committee on April 14. On January 3, 2017, Connors' nomination was returned to President Obama at the sine die adjournment of the 114th Congress.[3]
