Clark County Courthouse Bond Measure (April 2010)
There was a Clark County Courthouse Bond Measure on the April 6 ballot in Clark County.
This measure was approved
- YES 1,097
- NO 648[1]
As a part of the county plans for a new courthouse, this bond proposition was the last step and measure that needed to pass for the construction to begin on the project. A levy was approved in February and since this measure was approved, the county will be allowed to borrow the needed extra funds to re-build their courthouse which is in dire need of repair.[2] This measure would approve the creation of a bond in the amount of $4 million for the courthouse construction. The current low interest on the bond is also why officials are pushing to get this now.[3]
