Clark Jenkins
Clark Jenkins is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 3 from 2002 to January 1, 2015.
Biography
Jenkins earned his B.S. from Campbell University in 1971. His professional experience includes working as a farmer for W.S Clark Farms.[1]

Elections for the North Carolina State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Erica Smith-Ingram defeated incumbent Clark Jenkins and Alan Mizelle in the Democratic primary. Smith-Ingram was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3]

2010
Jenkins won re-election to the North Carolina State Senate District 3, defeating C.B. Daughtridge (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5] Jenkins was opposed in the Democratic primary election on May 4, 2010, by Frankie L. Bordeaux and Florence Arnold Armstrong.[6]

On November 4, 2008, Jenkins won re-election to the 3rd District in the North Carolina State Senate. Jenkins had no challenger.[7]
