2014
The November 4, 2014, general election in the Cherokee County School District featured five seats up for election. In the District 3 race, John Arlen Harmon ran unopposed since he triumphed over his Republican challenger, Brett Ladd, in the primary. The same was true of incumbent Robert Rechsteiner in District 4, Clark Menard in District 5 and Mike Chapman in District 6 since they all defeated their Republican challengers in the primary, and there were no Democratic candidates to face them.
The fifth seat up for election was a special election to fill the District 1 seat vacated by Kelly Marlow, who resigned in April following a felony conviction. Appointed board member Kyla Cromer, also a Republican, ran unopposed.
