Anderson provided the following statement to the Pima County School Superintendent's office:

Thomas Jefferson once said “An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people.” These words were true at the beginning of our democracy and in today’s world they are more important than ever. I believe that education is the cornerstone of a free and prosperous society and I am committed to providing the best education to our children.

I am running for the Vail School District Governing Board again to utilize the knowledge and skills I have acquired to work with others in continuing to provide an excellent education for the students of Vail School District. I believe my experience along with the relationships I have developed throughout the years in the community make me an excellent candidate for the Vail School District Governing Board.[2]
