Jimenez's campaign website stated the following:

Claudia's Vision for Richmond

Improved City Services

Having more revenue for the city means more opportunities to uplift Richmond residents. Claudia is taking a back-to-basics approach by investing more in core city functions, including parks, libraries, landscaping, and road maintenance. She is spreading the word that that Richmond is a great place to live, work, invest, shop, and recreate.

Economic Development - Equitable and Green

Richmond can no longer get by as an oil refining town. We need to diversify our tax base and create new jobs by bringing new and cleaner industries to our city. Being one of the few cities on the West Coast with an functioning deep water port is one of our strengths. City leaders must 1) insist that jobs go to Richmond residents and 2) provide the job training people need to embrace new economic opportunities.

A Safer Community

Claudia takes a holistic approach to public safety, which means investing city money in mental health crisis teams, road safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and youth programs in addition to police. In addition, she is a national leader in the creation of city-level programs to help keep immigrants and others safe from ICE and other federal agencies.
