Kyle ran for election in the 2012 election for Oregon House District 19. Kyle was unopposed in the May 15 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Kevin Cameron (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

  • Increasing Accountability for State Government: "She will push for strict annual audits to eliminate waste and inefficiencies and empower state government workers to find smarter, more efficient ways to deliver the services Oregonians really want."
  • Protecting Oregon’s Families: "We need to make putting people back to work in quality family wage jobs our top priority in the legislature. And not just any jobs, we need wage sustaining jobs, with adequate benefits including provisions for healthcare, family leave, sick leave, and childcare..."
  • Caring for Oregon’s Natural Environment: "Claudia supports responsible legislation that promotes managed use of our natural resources while preserving Oregon’s beloved environment for future generations..."
