Claudio Belusic (Libertarian Party) ran for election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 37. Belusic lost in the general election on November 5, 2019.
He (Libertarian Party) was a candidate for New Jersey's 9th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Belusic lost the general election on November 6, 2018. Belusic was a 2017 Libertarian candidate for District 37 of the New Jersey General Assembly.
Belusic was a 2016 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 5th Congressional District of New Jersey.[1]

2017
General election
Elections for the New Jersey General Assembly took place in 2017. All 80 seats were up for election. State assembly members are elected to two-year terms. The general election took place on November 7, 2017. A primary election took place on June 6, 2017. The filing deadline for the primary election was April 3, 2017.[2] Legislative districts in the New Jersey General Assembly are multi-member districts, with two representatives in each district. In Democratic and Republican primary elections, the top two candidates move forward to the general election, and the top two candidates in the general election are declared the winners.[3] Incumbent Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D) and incumbent Gordon Johnson (D) defeated Gino Tessaro (R), Angela Hendricks (R), and Claudio Belusic (Libertarian) in the New Jersey General Assembly District 37 general election.[4][5]

2016
New Jersey's 5th Congressional District was a battleground district in 2016. Josh Gottheimer (D) defeated incumbent Scott Garrett (R) and Claudio Belusic (L) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Garrett defeated Michael Cino and Peter Vallorosi in the Republican primary on June 7, 2016. Gottheimer won the November 8 election, defeating incumbent Garrett.[9][10]
