Clay Padgett
Clay Padgett (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District. He lost in the Democratic primary runoff on August 28, 2018.
Biography
Clay Padgett holds a B.S. in biology from Tarleton State University. He received a masters of international public policy from Johns Hopkins University in 2017. Padgett served in the U.S. Army from 1993 to 2015. He attained the rank of colonel and retired as a lieutenant colonel. Padgett has worked as a public educator at Antlers Public School District since 2017. He has also been the owner/operator of a commercial Brangus cow/calf operation.[1]
