Clayton Kawski was a judge on the Dane County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed by Republican Governor Scott Walker on July 15, 2016, to succeed retired judge David Flanagan.[1] He did not file for election to a full term in 2017.

Kawski received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law. He was an assistant attorney general from 2010 to 2016. His professional experience also includes working in private practice at the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich, and clerking for former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser.[1]
