Clayton Luckie
Clayton Luckie is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 39 from 2006 to 2013.
Biography
Luckie was a member on the Dayton Board of Education prior to being appointed. He has also been a marketing and sales director for Johnson Energy Company.
Luckie earned an A.A.S. in biology from Sinclair Community College and a B.A. in economics from Ohio State University.

2012
Luckie ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 39. Luckie was unopposed in the March 6 Democratic primary election but withdrew prior to the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]
2010
Luckie won re-election to District 39 of the Ohio House of Representatives. His Republican opponent, Jeffrey Wellbaum (R), withdrew from the election, leaving Luckie to face Harlene Holland (I) in the general election. The election took place on November 2, 2010.[2][3]

Luckie sentenced to prison for mail fraud
On November 15, 2019, Luckie was sentenced to four months in prison with three years of supervised release to follow. He pleaded guilty to one count of mail fraud in July 2019. According to the Dayton Daily News, Luckie admitted he "received $2,000 in a scheme to defraud the city of Dayton by using its disadvantaged business program to help a non-disadvantaged demolition contractor fraudulently complete city contracts between June 2016 and January 2017[.]"[8]
