Clel Baudler (b. April 4, 1939) is a former Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 20 from 1999 to 2019.

Biography

Baudler's professional experience includes working as a farmer and Trooper with the Iowa State Patrol.

Incumbent Clel Baudler defeated Scott Heldt, Bob Boyle and Ryan Ketelsen in the Iowa House of Representatives District 20 general election.[1][2]

Elections for the Iowa House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Steve Roe was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Clel Baudler was unopposed in the Republican primary. Roe faced Baudler in the general election.[5][6][7] Incumbent Baudler defeated Roe in the general election.[8]

On November 4, 2008, Baudler was re-elected to the 58th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Christopher Nelson (D).[12] Baudler raised $30,302 for his campaign, while Nelson raised $6,320.[13]
