I'm a 6th generation Floridian & have lived in my district for ten years. Career in Pharmacy, Public Health, and as a Small Business Owner. BS/MS Pharmacy, University of Florida, MS in Public Health University of North Carolina, Former member of the US Peace Corp. in Malaysia, Community Service Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer of the Year Auburn Maine YMCA, Improvement League of Plant City FL, Care-Fest Plant City FL, Kiwanis Club Plant City FL. First United Church of Tampa
  • I'm Running to start the Fight Against Climate Change.
  • I want to expand coverage and affordability of Health Care for all Floridians
  • In my first term, I will work to assure fair, non gerrymandered (by party), voting districts for all of Florida
I'm passionate about starting the fight against Climate Change. We must do this to maintain our quality of life in Florida. The Covid 19 has demonstrated how damage to our Florida economy damages our budgets. If we don't start fighting climate cahnge, the resulting damage to our economy will pale in comparison to the damage from Covid as we run out of inexpensive drinking water and half our homes are devalued to zero worth from tropical weather, flooding, and sea level rise.

I'm also passionate on: improving our public education system especially Pre-K.; expanding availability and affordability of health care; assuring fair voting districts in next year's redistricting;
Term of office 2 years for House members and 4 years for Senate members. These allow for some ongoing continuity session to session .
Not necessarily. The Founding Fathers of our country envisioned Citizen Legislators who would bring their life experience to their elected office. They would see their public office as public service. This view of public service and life experience are the most important parts of the qualifications for a Florida House Member
Immediate is recovery from the ongoing damage to our Florida economy from Covid 19.
But immediately behind that is the fight against climate change. Florida is particularly vulnerable to damage from climate change.
Collaborative in service to the citizens regardless of the political party of the Governor, the Legislators, or the Citizens
Any group of people who must agree at the end of a process benefit from relationships with each other. Although it is increasing;y difficult to do in these hyper partisan times, it is useful if these relationships transend political party
I favor an independent non partition committee who will follow the Fair District amendment passed by 63% of voters in 2010 amending our Florida constitution
Any/all comitees relating to the environment, Pre-K education, redistricting commitee
