Clifford Patrick O'Sullivan (1897-1975) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. O'Sullivan died on October 7th, 1975.

Judicial nominations and appointments

Sixth Circuit

O'Sullivan was nominated to the Sixth Circuit by President Dwight Eisenhower on January 14, 1960, to a seat vacated by Charles Casper Simons; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 10, 1960, and received his commission on March 12th. He assumed senior status on September 27, 1969, and served that Sixth Circuit in that capacity until his death on October 7, 1975.[1]

Eastern District of Michigan

O'Sullivan was nominated to the Eastern District of Michigan by President Dwight Eisenhower on June 6, 1957, to a seat vacated by Arthur Koscinski; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 5, 1957, and received his commission on August 7th. He served the Eastern District of Michigan until his April 4, 1960, elevation to the Sixth Circuit.[1]
