Campaign website
Wiley’s campaign website stated the following:

SECURING OUR BORDER We must secure our borders at all costs. The policies of our current administration have created a humanitarian crisis. Lethal drugs are pouring across the border, and drug cartels are trafficking humans in greater numbers than ever before. We must finish the wall along our Southern border. As of September 2022, there is almost a 1:1 ratio of babys born in the US and immigrants crossing our Southern border illegally. When does this become a problem with our current administration? I believe in preserving individual, Texan, and American sovereignty and freedom. PUBLIC EDUCATION Being a current public school teacher, I have an inside view of how government policies are putting our children further and further behind. I will stand with teachers and do what we can to keep the government out of our classrooms and allow the teachers to do what they do best! I believe parents and teachers should be front and center, and should play a larger role in deciding what should be taught and what school policies are implemented. Having an educated population is key to the future success of our state and nation. 2ND AMMENDMENT When the government has the ability to say who can own firearms and who can't, we have a problem. I am a firearm owner and a member of the NRA. If elected, I will do everything in my power to limit further regulations or restrictions to your 2ND Amendment rights. RIGHT TO LIFE I am pro life. Children are one of God's greatest gifts whether we realize it in every circumstance or not. The sanctity of innocent human life, created in the image of God, should be equally protected from fertilization to natural death. I would also like to create legislation that would make it harder for men to walk away without being held accountable for their role in the creation of this new life. VETERANS AND POLICE Having served as an Infantry Marine, I understand what is needed for our troops currently serving as well as the veterans at home. I will never leave my brothers and sisters behind. Growing up with a father that wore a badge has instilled a deep respect for everything that the police do. The police need our support now more than ever and I am proud to live in a state where the police know how we feel about them. Both of these groups will always, without question, have my unshakable support. UKRAINE I will not vote to send any more money to Ukraine. The US has no strategic interest in this conflict. We do have interest in many issues happening here at home where that money would be better used.[2] |
